1) Plug your USB Multi-channel sound card to a USB port on your computer.
2) Access to Vista configuration menus for the sound
Once connected, open the Playback Devices configuration windows:
- Right click on Mixer Icon in the windows task bar
- Select Playback Devices command in the Menu

3) Activate the 5.1 mode in Vista
- Select the Speakers 2- USB Audio device and click on the Configure button:

- The Speaker Setup wizard lets you set sound card:

- In the field called Audio Channel, choose the setting 5.1 Surround and click on Next button:
- Activate the check boxes Center / Subwoofer / Side pair and click on Next button:
- As Full Range Speakers selection, select Front left and right and Surround speakers and click on Next button:

And your USB Multi-channel Sound Card is configuration in 5.1 mode is complete for Vista.

4) Configure VirtualDJ for the 5.1 sound board
- Run Virtual DJ and click on the MORE button to get the settings menu.

Then set in the Audio Configuration tab set the following configuration:

- Inputs : None
- Outputs : Headphones
- Sound card(s) : 4.1 CARD
- Sound card : Speakers (2-USB Audio)
- Output channels: Master : Rear output / Headphone : Front output
and on click on OK.
You can now connect
- your headphones on the master output (output 1-2 or output Headphones on Muse Pocket/Muse Pocket Lt)
- your speakers on the output 5-6.[
