My name is Durieu Allen Pitts a.k.a. DJ D.Allen, or the artist formally known as EXP. This is going into my 6th year in the scene and my Second year DJing. My first rave was Shine @ The Spenard Rec summer 05'. I've been in love with music since the fetal stage and in love with EDM since my jr high days when some very white hair'd friend of mine gave me a DJ Samurai CD, yeah Shane as much as I hate to admit it but you got me into this crazy shit. I started with a copy of Virtual DJ for a couple months. At the same time I started practicing on cdj's, but with my limited availability to practice I was still pretty rough with the hardware. I tested Timecode cd's w/ VDJ & moved to midi control with the cdj 400's. Now I perform the big shows using CD's and do all other event functions with a laptop via pioneer 400 kit midi control.
