What could be the incredible Pioneer's mixtables like DJM2000 without their awesome effects ? I can not imagine. What could be the best DJ software in the world, I mean VDJ of course, with such effects as Pioneer ones ? Here, I can imagine ! Here, I explain what you can do with Shaker Beat V1.1 effect, my very first plugin.
I tried to do something close to "beatbraker".
You allow to manage a sample of 4 beats maximum. As soon as the effect is off, the initial song goes on 4 beats from where you launched the plugin.
You can select each beat you want to listen to with bottons 2 to 5.
You can add new rythm for each beat selected with slider 2 to 5.
You can choice how many beats you want to affect in the plugin (1 to 4) with botton 1 or slider 1
As soon as you launch the plugin, the effect takes into account the 4 beats following but from the first next CBG.
Parameters :
botton 1: you can select 4 effects
- "Normal" = after shakerbeats, go back when you launched the plugin
- "Over pan" = you add on the initial song the shakerbeats with pan mode
- "Go on": after shakerbeats, the song goes on without starting where you launched the plugin
- "Reverse": same as "Normal", but with reverse mode
botton 2: the number of beat from the initial song you want to listen to on beat 1 with effect
botton 3: the number of beat from the initial song you want to listen to on beat 2 with effect
botton 4: the number of beat from the initial song you want to listen to on beat 3 with effect
botton 5: the number of beat from the initial song you want to listen to on beat 4 with effect
slider 1: number of beats you want to manage (the same as botton 1 in V1.1)
slider 2: rythm on beat 1 selected
slider 3: rythm on beat 2 selected
slider 4: rythm on beat 3 selected
slider 5: rythm on beat 4 selected
Find the detail of the rythms you can preset with slides 2 to 5, from top to down :
1000 = 1 crotchet (initial rythm)
1010 = 2 quavers
1111 = 4 semiquavers
1001 = 1 quaver with point + 1 semiquaver
1100 = 1 semiquaver + 1 quaver with point
1011 = 1 quaver + 2 semiquavers
1110 = 2 semiquavers + 1 quaver
1101 = 1 semiquaver + 1 quaver + 1 semiquaver
At the bottom of the plugin, you can see that the line which indicates the parameter mixes on the one hand the beat selected and on the other hand the rythm.
That's why you can see 3030 if you choose the beat 3 and the rythm "2 quavers" for this beat (instead of 1010).
