Stevie ‘E’ is a Trance DJ & he has been a turntablist since the mid 90’s after going to a clubbing event with his the n fiancé in the Isle of Man. Steve was first introduced to what many people now call Trance Classics and was given his first ‘set’ to play at a house party and as a consequence was asked to play at lesser known venues. Steve then moved to the UK Mainland in July 2004 and after a period of touring the UK’s Clubbing Scene, he decided to create Time Travel Promotions © and in turn release a digital label Time Travel Records© Stevie’s own promotional brand is something he is building as a hobby in his spare time, Stevie decided that as he had been off the ‘scene’ for a good few years prior to his move that he would brush up on his turntablist skills and went to the DJ Academy in the UK to learn the latest technology and skills & met up with DJ Trixta who had been a DJ for 15 years; together with over ten years teaching experience. Trixta has toured the world with his unique 6 decks mixing technique called “Cubism” with which he is Guinness Book of Records Holder for SIX decks mixing. Trixta has had residencies world wide including the United States, Japan, Australia, Greece, Spain, France, and here in the UK at Ministry of Sound in London and The Manor (Bournemouth-UK). Trixta has given much encouragement to Stevie and awarded him his certificate of distinction after completing his course. Stevie has played not only at his ‘hometown’ of Douglas in the Isle of Man, but has also played in Gran Canaries, Southampton, Bradford, Latvia, Greece and India. Stevie E is not only an enthusiastic DJ who loves his Trance; he has turned his hand to production and teamed up with Phattfreak to create a duo which was to be known as Two Trance Essentials. Their debut album called Mathematics was to be released on Time Travel Records© in early February 2009 but due to some rights issues were never released. Stevie who is highly regarded & well known in the Security & Protection & Investigation Industry now solely plays on internet radio stations. His current residency’s are once a month on the world famous super club radio station Slinky.fm and now has been contracted to play for danceradioglobal.com Stevie ’E’ new resident radio shows called ‘Trancefusion Sessions’ started February the 14th 2008. Every second Saturday of the month between 14:00 – 16:00 hours GMT and the danceradioglobal show is every week from 20:00-22:00 hours GMT (UK times). Stevie’s shows play progressive, uplifting, euphoric, psy and even the occasional hard trance; he plays not just the main stream that we all come to expect but that of different remixes or the not so main stream tracks. He has his FAME Hour (Featured Artist Media Exposure) where he introduces not only mainstream DJ Guest Mixes but that of the ‘bedroom DJ’, interviews, fun competitions and show surprises. All we’d say is, check him out, he certainly entertains and his shows are always LIVE ON AIR unless otherwise stated.
