There are some so called "A" and "B+" DJs that aren't "C"ing "A" lot of money from DJing. However, there are many "C+" DJs making "A" lot of money from DJing. "C" if you can figure out why....

HOW TO TALK TO A DJ If you're going to talk to the DJ, DON'T SAY...

1. "Play something good... something we can dance to!" The D.J. has to play for more than one person, so what you may hate may be another's favorite song and everything played here can be danced to one way or another.

2. "Would you play something with a beat?" Don't be an idiot. We know of no songs played in a club that don't have some sort of a beat.

3. "I don't know who sings it and I don't know the name of the song, but it goes like this... la dee-dah-dee!" Please, don't sing for the D.J. They have to put up with smoke-filled rooms and dangerous decebal levels all night. Do them a favor and don't give them a rendition of your favorite song.

4. "Everybody wants to hear it!" Oh sure, you polled everyone in the club and, as their spokesperson, you are requesting the song. Also, do not make a request, then send all your friends to make the same request when the D.J. doesn't play it. We're on to you bastards.

5. "I can get laid if you play it!" If you are good enough, you can get laid to anything!! (also been known as "buy the album and get laid for a month!")

6. "I want to hear it next!" The only people who can get away with that statement write the D.J.'s paycheck. Also a $100 tip could help matters.

7. "I don't know what I wanna hear... what do you have?" It's a lot easier for you to go have another beer and figure out what you want to hear than it is for the D.J. to recite the name of every record in the booth.

8. "Hey man, nobody can dance to this!" It is not advisable to say this when the dance floor is packed (but, some people do anyway). However, even if there is only one person on the floor, it still contradicts the statement.

9. "Everybody will dance to it if you play it!" The D.J. won't...I guess that blows a hole in that theory.

Tips:

1 If you ask for a song and the D.J. says he just played it, don't say, "Well, I just got here." It makes absolutely no difference.

2 Don't say, "Is this the only kind of music you play?" If you go to a Chinese restuarant, you wouldn't ask for Italian food. Rock clubs play rock, alternative clubs play alternative, discos play disco, etc., etc., etc...

3 If you ask for a song, be specific. Don't say, "I wanna hear something, anything but this!" Try going to the bar and saying, "I wanna drink something, anything but this!" You can't complain if you're not specific.

4 However, if you are specific and the D.J. says he doesn't have the song, don't say, "What?!! What do you mean you don't have it? What kind of D.J. are you? Why don't you get into the wonderful world of fast food! You obviously don't know what you're doing as a D.J.!"... Expect a bitch slap.

5 Give the D.J. a break. The next time you request a song, stop and think before you speak. And above all, if the D.J. has one hand on the mixer, one hand on a turntable/CD player - wearing headphones, don't bug him. HE'S MIXING

Video mixing in VDJ has two modes:
- None accelerated video : This needs a far less powerfull video card, but will consume more CPU and will NOT show video effects or transitions effects in "3d" or how its intended to show.
- Accelerated mode : VDJ uses the video cards built in powers to render effects and transitions. It will consume less CPU

Mid-Range
(these cards were/could've been considered top-end a few years ago, and are fairly powerful, and and most of them have no problem mixing with hardware accelerated mode internally. Some might not work at best level on external output, while some, like X1600 or 6800 or X800 should be doing ok. Ramee Group of hotels (Middle East) are to be avoided at all costs - Bad Service, Rude & arrogant.

Equipment is the worst I've seen.

Jazeera Airlines (Middle East) are to be avoided at all costs - Bad Service i.e. Loosing luggage etc and no apology or composition offered, you even have to return to the airport to retrieve your luggage yourself because they refuse to deliver it to your hotel.

I lost my bag that included my music & hardware, I got it back 48hrs later but by then it was to late. I had to for-fit my booking and lost an absolute fortune.

Sexual harassment by senior manager!
Posted: 2007-05-14 by Abhishek Agnihotry

My Friend was working with Jazeera Airways. CP-N delhi. Boss Mr. Jha forced her to have SEX with him, and in return she could be a supervisor in airport, when she declined, he created hurdles on her way... She is not the only victim, we tried to contact police but they are as usual heartless and rude. So she changed the job.

Many of office girls and aspiring Air Hostesses are being harassed by him regularly. One day one girl even slapped him but that 40 years old maniac is still hunting around in Jazeera Airlines. As the most senior official.

Police is listening this!!! I know NO... They would be busy in some other business as usual.

Waiting Refund for Cancelled flight
Posted: 2008-05-27 by Fidha Sharaf

Hi Everyone,

REF: BOOKING RER# W9KQAC - DXB-COK-DXB - FLNO: J9486 DTD: 15.02.2008

I am writing this mail in hope of reaching someone who will be able to resolve this issue or creating awareness amoung people about the way Jazeera as a budget airlines work.
We booked Jazeera from Dubai to Cochin for travel on 20/02/2008 and upon reaching airport to board the flight was informed that the flight is being cancelled and you will get a refund within 7 days to your bank accounts. Believing this we took another flight. When we returned back from India, we still didnt get the refund. Upon contacting their help desk via email we were told it takes 35 working days. We waiting 45 days before contacting again and since then after numerous mails, there has been no reply from their help desk and an amount of 2000Dhs is yet to be refunded till date 27/05/2008.
We are very frustrated by this and advice anyone who wants to travel by budget airlines to think twice before dealing with such dodgy airlines.
Personally that is the first and last time for me and if anyone is listening...GIVE MY MONEY BACK!!!

To helpdesk,

Don't copy paste emails to all customer!! if you got some shame remaining..reflect it on my bank account.

LEFT AT AIRPORT WITHOUT BOARDING
Posted: 2009-03-30 by

Dear all

i purchased jazeera airways ticket for my trip from kuwait to mumbai and return .
while coming back, the fligth was scheduled 3:40 am, as i reached airport very early to do the baggage and other things, after i finished everything and got the boarding pass.
i was waiting in the gate hall as there was plenty of time for boarding, but unfortunatly they announced that the flight will be more dely, so i waited more 1:45 minutes .
after 2 hours they informed me that your flight has left from another gate, as they changed the gate in mean time without informing or i thing that i was given wrong gate number from the begining as print out on my boarding pass .
i made alot of calls after i come to kuwait, i send fax and emails, but nothing was done .
it was horrible experience for me that night, i spent on airport and eventually purchased another ticket on the sameday in Emirates in highr class and traveled back to kuwait after i returned down town and paid for taxi and hotel twicely .

i advice you all, PLEASE DONT BUY THIS BULLSHIT AIRLINES.

Borading Denial
Posted: 2008-04-28 by Yasir Razak

I had booked an online ticket, confirmation number R6U5EB, on April 19, 2008 from Mumbai to Dubai on flight J9 427 departing Mumbai at 7:40 am, April 27, 2008. I had booked the ticket using my friend’s credit card. At the airport counter I was informed that I will not be able to travel since I have booked the ticket using my friend’s credit card. My friend who booked the ticket was present in front of the airline official along with the credit Card.

Since this rule is unique to Jazeera airways I was not aware of this. I don’t remember getting a message on my computer while booking the ticket. May be it was because of the pop up blocker or it missed my eye. However I read through the ticket print out and nothing about the credit card was mentioned. I believe that it was your duty to include this information in the ticket.

The airline staff present was there Marina Palude. Her attitude was rude and unacceptable. The basic quality required for anyone interacting with a customer is empathy. She was not ready to listen or even suggest a solution. There was a passenger who came before 57 minutes of departure. He was denied boarding because he was late by 3minutes. Even I was sent back. I had to reach Dubai urgently since I needed to resume office. Eventually I lost a valuable day in office.

Cheating in the sold out seats
Posted: 2009-06-01 by Tarek

Jazeera was Showing Sold out seats for all the low fare Seats, however, and after a while, they have shown that there is seats available everywhere, this way, they make sure people like me will buy the expensive seats first, then they will sell the cheap seats.

this is cheating and is not acceptable.
