An Up-incoming DJ| Musician |Producer Dontarious “Dj Urband” Farmer is not just your average dj. Making his mark in the music industry, he showcases a whole new style that will capture everyone’s attention. Mixing as well as producing Hiphop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, PartyMusic and other various genres, DJ Urband will take you on a musical journey YOU WILL NEVER… EVER FORGET. Exposed to music at an early age, Urband started playing the clarinet, saxophone and drums in grade school and on the side making beats and dj remixes for a couple of friends in his class. With just a laptop they were impressed how professional his beats were. This motivated him to pursue career in music and entertainment. After graduating from North Marion High Urband had planned to study recording arts at International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL but unfortunately he could not pay the tuition. Instead he enrolled to College of Central Florida to study for his AA degree in music. This did not stop him from mastering his craft as a dj/producer. Slowly making a name as a campus dj, Urband volunteers to dj upcoming events for student organizations. Just recently, Urband performed at the Annual Fall Ball hosted by P.A.N.T.S. as well as CEO’s Set Friday. Urband is now currently working on some projects to show his ability to produce as well as rocking the ones and two’s. As said by Jimmy Hendrix, “My goal is to be one with the music. I just dedicate my whole life to this art.” |
