Hi all, i have a Numark total control running cue le version 5. The soundcrad is M audio fast track pro. my problem is when i connect the total control i get no sound out. If i dont connect the total control the sound works fine. I don't understand this problem at all. Could anyone please help. Its driving me up the wall! |

You might have an IRQ conflict on USB ports which means that Total Control and sound card are sharing the same IRQ. Try to connect TC to another USB port, or deinstall drivers for sound card, connect TC and than install drivers for sound card again, that way the system will "see" another device attached and hopefully use another free IRQ address. |

Hi again, thank's for your reply. I thought myself it may have something to do with IRQ's, but unfortunatly windows XP will not allow me to assign them manualy. I tried what you said about uninstalling the soundcard drivers, but still no joy. Both units work well together if i select general midi in the remote devices of cue instead of the preset for the total control. How can this be? Although i don't think i set all the parameters correct as the LED's do not light and the controls don't seem as smooth. If someone could supply me with a midi map for the total control then i would be happy with that. It's realy starting to get on my t**s now. What ever happend to standardisation. |

I have sold Total Control for the same conflict with Fast Track PRO, in my case a lot of time the controller was death and CUE/VDJ was not able to recognize it :(
Anyway try to contact Numark service support.
Ps I have tested also new Total Control Firmware 1.2 without any successful. |

I guess i will have to sell it, if there is no fix for it. I will never touch another numark product till the day i die. Even if they were given away free in the cornflake packets. |

To be honest i haven't thought about buying anything else yet. It would be nice for manufacturers to state what hardware will work with there hardware, instead of just making you buy all your hardware from them. At the moment i'm just contemplating what block of high rise flats im gonna drop the Total Control from. |

All is forgiven Numark. Total control is working like a dream now. Had to delete / uninstall all usb drivers. Set up the soundcard in cue without the total contol plugged in. Re-start software with the total control plugged in. |

Spam? I thought it might be of use to anybody who was experiencing a similar problem to let them know how the problem was fixed. That's called advice! Jimmy b are you on the Hercules pay role by any chance? |

@cheddar boob
Chill mate, not you, there was a post from a Non-license user between DJ-Alf's and my spam "do not Spam the forum post" with just a load of letters, that didn't mean anything. It's either been deleted or moved up to a higher viewing level.
And no I'm not on the hercule payroll
All good mate?
