Just wanted to know how to configure timecode cd's to work with cdj.

Each time i cue a trax with the cdj, and then play/stutter like i would normaly dowith normal cd's, it never goes back to my cue point.

I have Virtual Dj 5.2 with VDJ Timecode cd's and a Audio8 Dj from Native.

Could somebody please help me out.

Thanks

Have you turned off master tempo on your CDJ's? :)

yes, I have the same exact problem and so do 2 other friends of mine. I am running a laptop with vdj 5.2.1 a pioneer cdj 100 mk3 ( the one not playing correctly at the moment) and a stanton c.304 (nothing compared to the cdjs). My other friend is running a cdj-400. when you hit cue it does not go back to the cue point. Not to mention if you play past the cue point and scratch backwards it WILL NOT go all the way back.

Yes Master Tempo is off, also, i got the same issues as stated above, but me it's on CDJ-800. When ever i need to cue a trax i need to do it manualy in VDJ. I cant even use it properly to play only with the CDJ.

Please HELP

Hmmm... Have you got the pro version of timecode CD's? How does your setup window look, how do the waves go? Have you selected CD instead of Vinyl in that window?

Which mode is your CDJ? (Vinyl / CDJ)

So you should add serial number to your profile and have all the extra features ;)

What I meant was addons like plugins, sound effects, skins etc.
For Timecode issue I really can't help as I don't use them.

It would increase your credibility. :) Some people refuse to help "no licence users" because they might be crack users...

Anyways: can you screenshot your settings?

The issue sounds like it's in your VDJ settings.

are you using absolute mode? relative mode, or smart mode?

Try these and see which one works for you. If i'm not mistaken, Smart mode is the one which will allow you to use TCCD's like regular DC's (make VDJ act like CD being played in cd player)

Hope this helps and if you are using Pro, Please register or purchase the software.
