if i install the windows media player update it causes problems in my video performance .
this is what happens .......when i set an effect for audio only files , the bottom check box in the video settings in config , when the video plays ,i get a line thru the center of the screen , and in that narrow line the video effect will we running ??
i have xp media center edition ,sp3 , latest direct x
if i system restore back to b4 the update , the problem goes away
i narrowed it down to that update also
