Topic: Another Virtual Vinyl Question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is is possible to go back and forth between playing the timecoded records and actual vinyl? Am I able to mix them together?

I'm not 100% certain..but I do believe there is a bypass option...

Yes there is, you can set a keyboard shortcut up for it, or some skins have the option on them. It's a very good feature.

Yes, just split the signal from your turntable. (so there is effectivly 4 rca outputs) Send one left and right to the Phono on your mixer and the other two to your soundcard, and then back to the Line input on the same channel as your phono.

Then you can toggle between the two.

There is an option in VDJ that seems to work pretty good, but the last time i tried the gain would creep up everytime i enabled. Give it a shot.. go into shortcuts and make one on your keyboard.

If your talking about Virtual Vinyl itself... i believe the numark soundcard has a built-in bypass option, without the software needed.
