Topic: Do you entertain???

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Sometimes when people call me for a gig, the ask if I also entertain.
They mean, singing, doing funny things or something like that.
I don't do these things but some dj's are making a show of it:

funny guy mon.... seems to me like he was having a headache too
but trust me.. it seemed to go over well with the crowd

Yeah i do entertain at times... I am what you would call a human beat box.. and pretty good at it too

It's nice Digitalwiz if you have something extra then only playing music.
Last week I was at a party where a dj changed clothes and hair for 10 minutes in his 70's mix.

know what your saying jimmy, but i've had people follow me round for years, there's twelve of them i think have got a real problem (stalkers), plus everyone it seems wants feeding at my gigs as well, not forgetting the free wine that i give out, i always use the same bottle at every gig it works out cheaper that way.

do you normally finish off with the old classic of "walking on water" i find that normally drives the crowds wild...

If you do more then only playing music, do you have a video from that ?

really like to see how dj's entertain (not only with music)

@anthony, actually hollywood has made a few bi opic type vids of my shows, you can pick them up at any decent video store, suppose my favorite one is entitled "the greatest story ever told" goes on for ages but is as near to being at one of my gigs as your going to get.

the best show you can catch me at is the Easter bank holiday Sunday one, may give that one up its getting to much of a cross to bear. that and the rolling stones.

Please note. people who are not from NE England will probably not understand this. I probably won't when my medication wears off.

Sorry Tayla
Only had 10 mins so could have probably done better with it.
I live in Hull now but I spent a lot of time up in Newcastle. Used to stay in Whitley Bay. Some of my ancestors are from Bedlington, so I feel a link with your area. Used to have a girlfriend from Gosforth and another from Washington and another from somewhere else up there. Happy days.

while you were up here you basically were a slut geordie lasses are the best, so your an adopted geordie then, your forgiven for the macnarena bit, lol, is LA's still about in hull, that wasn't a bad club a few year back, if its still called that, got to know some of the "Guys" that ran hull if you know what i mean, main kid was from bloody bedlington of all places, lol. happy days in the bigg market and the quayside, and at Tidley Bay, the boat got towed away the other week, didn't need to get peed the spinning floor did that for free.

that guy in the vid is just silly...
and i think i did that bride's maid once, a long time ago. not certain though, the vid didn't have a good shot of the back of her head.

If you consider making lewd comments to all the drunk ladies at the party to be entertaining then I'm one hell of an entertainer. I may have to raise my rates.

Yeah, I heard about the boat going.

LAs went a long time ago too. It's a home for pigions at the moment.
