who's using a good product out there to convert VGA out on your rig to an s-video line for tvs? I tried the cheap cable fix, but apparently my VGA card does not support tv out :(

You don't mention were you are? One of the ways i do this in the UK is with a product from Maplins called averkey lite. This also allows more than one output source ie s-video av vga.

Hope this helps but note it only outputs upto 1024X768.

Keep in mind that VGA is much better videoquality then s-video.
If you can use VGA then don't use s-video
If you can use VGA then don't use s-video

sorry, forgot to mention my location...I'm in the states. Also, I need s-video for the club I work at several days a week. I'll use vga for mobile applications, but I'll need to convert to s-video in order to connect to all their screens.

found this at micro center......anyone using this? thoughts? I only ask cause I'm wary when one product is considerably cheaper than most of the others I've seen.

I use this because the chipset in my Macbook Pro doesnt support Windows XP and Bootcamp... It works pretty well for me and its small... I keep a powered USB hub in both dj booths because i prefer to power it that way instead of using the computer...

yeah I was thinking the same thing. I actually picked up a powered chillmat with usb hub built in, I'll probably use that to power it.
