Forum: PC Version Technical Support - Topic: Problem with MK2 not using channels correctly - Solution

Ever since upgrading to Vista 64 bit, I have had an issue with it either outputting a full volume signal to my external board or not outputting through the headphones. I also had issues with it wanting to output to the computer's soundcard (though being controlled by the MK2)

It's a bug somewhere in the MK2's drivers. Go into Config-->Sound Setup tab-->Select the "wrong" setup under output channels. (ie headphones on channel 1/2 and output on 3/4). Click OK....

Now open it back up and change it back :) That's it. Not positive if it's in VDJ's interface with the MK2 or the MK2's drivers for sure.. but it's a simple fix. Hopefully this helps someone down the road.

That doesn't work for me. I tried that. Will upgrading to 5.1 solve the problem? I am currently running 5(1).0.7. I hear there are major problems with beatmatching in this new version and am hesitant to upgrade with a major gig on sunday. Any other help?
