Topic: if i'm copying my music to a external hard-drive, how do i......................

if i'm copying my music to another computer how do i make sure that mp3s hav still got the SAVED cue. points which i have allready set on a number of songs???

do i need to copy any files from

Make sure you copy the XML Database from the original drive to the new drive and make sure the new drive has the same drive letter. Remember VDJ 5.XXX writes an XML file to every drive that you play a file from.

The easiest solution to your problem is to use Virtual DJ (installed in Computer A) to copy your media files (mp3, videos, etc) from "Computer A" to an external drive. Then use Virtual DJ (installed in Computer B) to copy from the external drive to "Computer B". This way Virtual DJ will be able to track and copy all your media files with the database information related to them.
