Topic: TCV and Pitch control of it (solved)

I play a House Track at 128bpm on my left deck, the pitch on my 1210 is at -/+0.

When I play the same Track at 128bpm on my Right deck the pitch on my other 1210 is at -3.

Is this Normal? I have no other issue's with TCV apart from this.

are you saying the pitch on the right deck has to be adjusted to play 128 bpm? When the right deck is playing at 0% do the center dots on the platter move? or are they steady?

Yes, I have to be at -3 on the pitch control, on the right deck, to achieve the tracks speed of 128bpm.

When I'm at 0 on the pitch control, the centre dots on the platter or steady.

TC is all new to me, so what I ran on was

Speed - 33
Mode - Smart
Lead Time - 500ms
Pitch Sensitivity - 2000ms ( found it to be the best )
Anti Skip and Clear Sound - Checked
Smart Cue and Browser Track - Unchecked.

Same Settings on both decks, which gave me 100% timecode on both decks.

I was going to say that but if he had the same songs on each deck then no pitch would have to change.

We are loading the same tracks on each deck correct?

Yep, it was the same track. I loaded both decks with the same track so I could see the difference.

I can't do anything now, so in the morning I will try it again, but this time I'll disable the Auto Pitch matching and see if that works.

Thanks Listen2 and Man-TK, and get back to you tomorrow.

Sorted,

took the Auto Pitch Matching off and both decks play the track at 0 on the pitch control. TCV's are bloody awesome.

Thanks Guys.

Hi guys,

I think you ( or the Mods ) should add to this thread ( and others as well ) subject line the statement "SOLVED" or "FIXED"....That way people browsing the forums see right away that most of the issues have been solved. I have a couple of mines on which I would like to be able to add that statement as well. Can I do it myself ? How ?

Sometimes just looking at the subjects mislead readers to believe that VDJ's software has a lot of faults, and as we all know, most of the times it just a matter of checking/unchecking an existing option to get them fixed.

I'm about to buy my TT200s to start using the TCV I just received this week...so these kind of threads, specially the solved ones, will really help me to get the best out of them.
