Hey All.... I have tried to read all the threads prior to putting this out. I have tried to rip CD+G to my External Hard Drive, I get the music not the graphics. I have the 5.2 VDJ version. Here's the $50.00 question: Can I just put in a CDG disc and add to my External Hard Drive, if not what hoops do I need to jump through ????

You need a plextor plexiwriter drive http://www.amazon.com/Plextor-PX-W4012TU-40x12x40-External-CD-RW/dp/B00006HY0E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1199506246&sr=8-1 most other drives are not compatible. Then get the Tricerrasoft CDG ripper program. It works the best to me. It will be simple after that and works very well. Some like to zip the files. I just leave them as is. Here is the program link: http://www.tricerasoft.com/karaoke_software/CDG_Ripper_Extraction_Tool.html. Again, it is the CDG Ripper program and is inexpensive.

Hi, you can use Audiograbber to transfer in CDG disks, i think it can automatically zip the two files (mp3 + cdg) together, making it perfect to use with Virtual DJ
