Topic: resources for building a mapper

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi. I have a programmer friend who will build a custiom mapper for me, but he is asking for either a "software developer's kit" or a "source code". Is any of this available? It is for interface of the DJ-HC4500 controller and of course, VDJ. Any support would be greatly appreciated! Thx!

The headers files for the HC4500 and other controllers can be downloaded from http://www.virtualdj.com/developers

Unfortunately there is no example code at present.

NOTE: The current HC4500 native support freezing problem affects custom mappers too. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Unfortunately for you Denon HC4500 is not present in CUE software but only in Virtual DJ for some marketing reason.
Numark Software like Numark Hardware and not Denon ;)

It's coming along niceley - Most of the core features are now working, but thre's still lots of testing to be done and plenty of bugs that need fixing.

Is there example code of a similar product, like the DAC-2?
