I'd like this Very simple but powerful effect,

Basically, an Echo which can be set (length, volume etc) and activated like an other activated Echo effect, but once the you press stop/pause on the Deck, the Echo (effect) continous, acting as an Echo Out effect, as seen on Pioneer mixers and the 3500 Denon players, a very useful transition option when a beat mix is not possible.

Bagpuss - there is an Echo Out effect that does this when you activate it as a normal effect. It stops the track and echo in a loops the X beats you set it to - Loop Out v2.1
Plus there are other options it can do.

Are you describing something different. I use that effect for what you have described.

The closest to what I'm looking for is Loop Out v2.1, it's a good effect but not quite there, as it lowers the volume of a loop in those short jumps, I think it would sound better if it's volume fel more smoothly.

i agree...there is an echoout effect that was created and worked for vdj 3 but no longer works for 4...that was the closest effect to what is being discussed here...an update for that particular plugin would be greatly appreciated

audio engineers call this kind of effect ducking echo/delay.

would be great!!!

here's a good example of the effect....when he transitions out of "crazy" and transition out of "like i love you"

the effect that you say is more audible or defined just before timberlake says "i'm bringing sexy back", nice and cool effect. the munark usb mixer has this effect

which numark usb mixer are you talking about? i couldn't find it

any updates with the development of this plugin? I was playing with a denon S3500 at guitar center yesterday and it has this effect pretty much built into the unit with depth and time adjustments, when you hit the pause button it echos out perfectly on the last beat or word....i just bought a numark 5000fx mixer and i'm still trying to replicate this effect perfectly but it's still pretty damn difficult...

was gonna post something like this but glad I saw this. I hope somebody makes the effect. Would really help in our VDJ radio too.

Kaleo made the original plug-in for this effect for VDJ 3.x doesn't work for 4.x...can someone maybe take the original plug-in and modify it for use in 4.x?? i think kaleo is too busy nowadays?
