Topic: best way to beat match a video

What is the best way cause could do with some help here

A little more explanation is needed. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Surely it's the same way as beatmatching an audio track, but with pictures? ;-)

The only difference I've found is that if it's a hip hop video, there's usually a minute of pointless intro crap to spool through before the song actually starts... If you're really unlucky, the song might break down in the middle for some sort of little skit that causes the dancefloor to stop and give you a funny look, while you shrug your shoulders and hope the music starts again soon!

I would hope that as a Professional DJ, one would be more prepared for a video with breaks. One way to get around it is to place a cue where the video picks up after the break. You just need to be quick on the cue button. The other way to deal with it is to have the MP3 of the song playing on the other deck alongside the video. I do that trick a lot.
