Topic: Bass boost on the Mike? (on the Mk2)

When I had my Microphone on my PC, I used mic boost, otherwise it was low. On the Mk2 can I do the same?

Don't really know what preferences you have in MK2 control pannel, but i would solve this problem with cheap preamplifier for mic. You will get even better sound from it believe me ;)

I am not so savy about audio technical devices. Could you explain to me what the preamplifier is? Is it just to boost sound? How does it basically work? and where can I get one?

Well.. it basicly make mic signal stronger. You connect it between mixer (MK2 in your case) and microphone. It is cheap and small. I have one from Behringer and it works very very good. It uses vacuum tube to amplify the signal and you can get even better sound with it.

If you are from EU you can buy it there. it is better than buy new mic ;)

Got it! Thanks :-) I will go out searching for a cheap one.
€100 is a lot 4 me, just go the Pro version hehe.
