Received by DJ Console today, eager to get started.

Not being a techie I am having problems installing VJ.

I am running XP home and on install it gets as far as loading up VJ fonts and freezes??

Does anyone have aby idea, is it an XP problem or software?

All the other free bundle stuff has been installed.

First try to start VDJ without the DJ console attached. This should work ok, if your computer meets the minimal specs. Then shut down VDJ and connect the DJ console. The installing hardware box will appear. Wait until it is completely finished (box will disappear). Then start VDJ all should work ok then.

I am not sure if its an XP problem??

My system is pretty new and way over min spec.

Going mad now, I don't really want to use the new DJ software.

Disable your antivirus before installing..(and all program working in background)

I have managed to get all the OTS and NewDJ, Storm installed but not this!!??

Have you ever downloaded a bad version from kazza or another p2p source ?

I now have done a system recovery and after 2 hours it has installed!!!

Good news, thanks to XP and now, good mix :)
