Topic: hard mix............soft mix???

What's the difference between a hard and a soft mix??? i know that you can record with the soft but when i just mix why is the hard mix better then???

The hard mix use directly the power of your sound card ! The soft mix uses windows api like DirectX sound in order to render the sound.
