I can have my volume right up... playing a song and then open atomix and the gain goes up by like 5% ?!!! what's with that... my volume is maxed out... and my friend noted a 'garage' sounding reverb when you play tunes through atomix... I noticed this a while ago, but dismissed it because I thought I was crazy...
why do we have this?? Does anybody else notice it?
Using AtomixMP3 2.1 Trial, I swear I can hear it in atomix mp3 2.0 full as well.

As for the increase in volume: enable multiple intances in the Options-screen and Atomix won't screw around with your volume-settings anymore...
Reverb? not here.. but I have pretty shitty speakers so I can't say that for sure..

Nope, no unexpected reverb here either. Maybe you have a couple of poorly ripped mp3's....

How your speakers set up???
I had mine once set up real bad, and the sound was bouncing off the walls everywhere, and it created this reverb. Try moving your speakers, trying other mp3s and check to see that all of Atomix's effects are turned off.
