Topic: 10" Mixer into a rack

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've got a 10" mixer and I would like to put it into a rack, does anyone know where I could find mounting brackets for this? Or maybe a case with the top made for a 10" mixer and the bottom for 19" rack equipment? I've searched all over the internet and haven't been able to come up with anything.

Thanks,
Brad

Hey there Brad . Mysielf I use a fair amount of 19" rack gear as well as the occasional 22" . What i have found is that many things have to be custom fabricated. What i would reccomend getting either a 1/8" X 19" X 12.25" thick piece of aluminum or a blank relay pannel 7U tall. The dementions are the same but the relay pannel will have mounting slots. Then determin the mounting hole size. You can have a laser cuting company cut a exact hole, or drill the corrners and use a jig saw. you will probably need to renforce the plate and add aditional hardware. If you want a long lasting finish have the plate powder coated. There is my 2 bits, or more thought of what to do. Good luck Jason S.
