Topic: Samples, C++ documentation, and effects

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

To AtomixTeam:

Excellent job on V2!
With its addictive features, I can't seem to exit the program.

To the rest:

1. Does anyone know any good sites to get samples such as vocals, drum-fills, horns, scratching, SFXs, etc. ?

2. I've looked at the header-file and the source code for the three effects, and it seems "easy enough". But I would like to learn more about the parameters and algorithms used in the modify functions. Is there a website or any hardcopy documentation that will give me more information on this, so that I can start working on my own effects?

3. How about an echo-effect? Anybody working on that? (too early maybe... : )

I'm working on the echo but for the moment I search the documentation about the frequency of calling the function modify

1. Buy the sample CD's from www.sonicfondry.com for the ACID series of programs - about 600 high quality samples to a CD for around $29-$39. The hip-hop series "Phat Beats"? maybe what you are looking for.
