The one thing I find lacking is the lack of VST plugin support, it would be a good addition to the software, also a feature to boost mic gain when needed

VirtualDJ supports VST effects for more than a decade already (actually even longer)
Just copy the VST .dll file on Documents\VirtualDJ\plugins64\soundeffect folder
Of course the VST must be 64 bit in order to work with a 64 bit host such as VirtualDJ 2021
