Topic: Energy Hot Cues

I've seen other DJs or DJ Record Pools add Energy Hot Cues to their tracks. I thought it was cool and it looks like 4 being the lowest energy and 8 being the highest energy on the scale and you could color code them however you'd like.

Personally I don't like them, nor I find them reliable, but that's just me.
Anyway, VirtualDJ can read those hotcues if you have the setting getCuesFromTags enabled

PhantomDeejay, Thanks for the information and that's what I was hoping for. I'm here to learn as much as I can about VDJ and how it works.

I have mine set to (for new files), but now I know how to toggle this off. I usually create my own Hot Cues even if it reads them, but it's still a nice visual reference and user preference.

Not exactly energy points, but, there are hotcues generated during the scanning of files. In the pad pages, there is a page called 'Remix Points', it picks out the 'breaks' and 'end breaks'. Not a lot of people know about them, you may find it useful. ;-)
