Topic: Align beatgrid default mapping Pioneer DDJ-1000

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I tried to find it in the HW manual of VDJ, but seems there are no default mapping for DDJ-1000 to increase/decrease CBG directly from the controller?
If not, how does a script look like, to do this for example with help of SHIFT & turn jogwheel ?
Does the new position save automatically ?

We will check and fix the native mapper to include Grid Adjust soon. Thank you!

For now, it's only possible if you use rekordbox: shift+jog (top) = adjust beat grid interval starting from beat grid anchor; shift+jog (outer ring) = slide the entire beat grid left or right.
For me, "fast search function" with "shift+jog" is better than "grid adjust function"...it's one of the (many) reasons why I prefer vdj.
The grid adjustment operation is done "one time in a life", so there's no problem doing that in the "BPM Editor"; instead, the "fast search" is a function that I use ALWAYS.
