Topic: USB 3.0 Issue - VDJ & NS6

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello - Just setup my new Lenovo Yoga 730-15 out of the box. Installed latest NS6 driver and running VDJ 7.4.7 as I haven't gotten the time to learn 8 yet. When I load up a song and play, it stars crackling and the song wont play, just crawls very slowly and it's very frustrating. The laptop only has two USB 3.0 ports and from Numarks forums, it states the NS6 IS compatible with 3.0, it just performs at 2.0 speeds. Thoughts?

Thank you, but upgrading to Virtual DJ 8 does not resolve my issue. Anyone else have any suggestions?

This is not an Issue from Virtual DJ Program.
This an Issue by the USB3.
I use also the NS6 from Numark.
I bought it 5 Years ago , and I had also this Problem ..
The Sound Stutter and Krack...
I contact the Numark Support and they explained Me this Problem.
It is due to the USB3 controller chips.
Most sound cards and audio interfaces do not work with USB3.
Numark said it is because the USB2 continuously sends data as is the case with sound cards and USB3 does not.
So in the way I remember Numark told me that via email.
It's probably a problem with Intel chips.
Best Numark cover letter, they'll explain the problem to you better.
