Before i buy this laptop, can vdj 8 run smooth on it or must i have a bigger cpu??

That's a 2006 processor so it's questionable. Are you getting the lapop from a thrift shop?

Don't buy equipment to just get by. A Yugo has 4 wheels and an engine, but would you get on the turnpike with it? Get a machine that has room to grow, when you do.

I got a hercules dj air, and the laptop is just for , quick take for birthdays, or little parties.
I must do the job, not to grow for big festivals.
And i can buy it for lesds

You would just need to try it. can't imagine anyone on here running VDJ8 on a system that old.
