On Mac High Sierra with the latest.
MC is acting like my 2 is set to thru.
Deck one fades off nice with the CF, but 2 has no separation what so ever.

This happened at an event where Chris Roman from In Music was working with me.
I asked him to have a look but was just as puzzled.
He cleared the midi log and it began working.
I went to use it again this weekend and it was back to its old tricks again.

In cofig, the unit is picked up and assigned properly #1 1/2 #2 3/4 but makes no difference.

Anybody else having this problem?

Audio set to master/phones 1/2
Back is set to Mac/int but it didn't seem to matter on the sound side.

Its acting like a driver issue if it was a pc
Dating myself, but I remember having to assign cards in midi sound control.
I run different gear on this machine because of 3 different set ups.
After Chris cleared the midi device memory it worked fine for 3 days.
So I dunno, but I can't put my finger on software, device or system settings at this point.

Intermittent hardware fault perhaps?

Never had an issue in 7 but haven't tried it.
Hard to pinpoint, but settings appear correct, but its acting exactly like line 3 is set to thru.

That is the first thing I looked at.
What changed the symptom was clearing the other midi devices.
I use CDJ's, Dicers, Reloop and the 6k
Another weird thing is VDJ will not pick up my SL2 sound card.

With the millions of these that were sold, I can't be the only one having this problem.

When back switch is set to INT MIX instead of PC MIX, the correct VDJ Audio setup should be External mixer (deck 1->Chans 1,2 and deck 2 ->Channels 3,4)

If the separation of channels is still not proper...
Goto Audio Midi Setup (from Applications->Utilities). Do you see the MC6000 as 4out ? If so , click on "Configure Speakers" (i think that's how it should called) and set it to 4 speakers - Quadrophonic mode.
Also try by not setting the MC6000 as default Mac sound card.

Man I tried every setting I could find and still puzzled why I can't use the sl2 card for sound.
The confusing thing is the terms I guess.
PC always meant internal mixer on the software side.
External meant where a usb sound card was in use with a standard mixer.
Yet we're setting the 6k to int and sound setting to ext where normally a controller is 1/2 main/ 3/4 monitor and my head is spinnin lol.

I remember having to select quad in midi sound to get 4 channel to work way back, think that is the way to bring in the sl2?
The sl2 does appear in hardware, but not in the vdj config as a usable sound device, whereas in windows its discovered and used with no problem.

If you want to use the SL2 and not the MC6000 sound card, then you should set the back switcher to PC MIX, so that the audio mixing/routing is not done from the MC6000 and use the device as a pure MIDI device and not as stand-alone mixer.

You audio setup should use the SL2 i guess (at least for Master)
So something like..
Master .. SL2 ..Chans 1,2
Headphones .. MC6000... Chans 3,4

I see Sierra compatible drivers, but not High Sierra update
