Topic: soudn effect start up mapper on my pioneer ddj SZ

how can I map VDJ to always start on 3 effect mode instead of 1 so I dont have to press SHIFT + TAP everytime I load VDJ.

Try inserting (or adding) this to the ONINIT mapping for the controller (or for the KEYBOARD controller if you want it to always happen regardless if a controller is connected):
deck 1 effect_3slots_layout 1 & deck 2 effect_3slots_layout 1 & deck 3 effect_3slots_layout 1 & deck 4 effect_3slots_layout 1
