I'm not sure if this is something that is intentional, but if I use the tag editor to rename a filename in the FILE INFO box and click the save icon, the file still goes missing in virtual dj; I then have to relocate the missing file.
I would assume that the whole point of renaming a file inside virtual dj (and not windows explorer) would be that VDJ would automatically update its own library to account for the filename change? If not, then is this something that could be implemented in a later update?

A Man and His Music
This only happens to me if the files are in a playlist for me. In other words, I make playlist for new music I get, so I don't forget to play them. If I change the file name in the browser, then it loses it's link in the playlist. I don't know if that is the same issue you are having.
