I have a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 audio interface that I'd like to use for laptop only djing. I want to be able to monitor a work track while playing another.
I have not found the correct settings yet to make this work. I can get sound out of the speakers, or I can get sound out of the headphones, but I've not yet been able to get one sound out of the speakers and another out of the headphones.
Can someone let me know what settings to use? Seems I've tried every combination so far.

I don't think it's matters so much what you configure in VDJ as long as you mirror it in Scarlett Mixcontrol
For instance this in VDJ:
And this in Scarlett Mixcontrol:
Gives me stereo master out in line output 1 & 2 (on the back) and stereo cue output in headphone out no 2 (on the front)
(tested with Scarlett Mix Control 1.8 and it's supplied ASIO driver for the 6i6)
In this example the mixer sections isn't used at all (the 2 last faders could just as well be all the way down ).
It's just using routes to different outs
For instance this in VDJ:

I have not seen nor used that Mixcontrol software. I just downloaded it. Thanks.
