Is there any way to write permanent ID3 tags to karaoke/.CDG files?
Whenever I manually move or copy/paste these files or create a new Databse, VDJ usually (but not always) loses all tag information I've added. Is there any way around this? I don't understand why sometimes I do not lose this information; and sometimes when I move a batch of files, a portion of those moved lose the tagged info.

You're asking the wrong question..mp3+g is just what it seems.. a simple mp3 file plus a linked graphics component. So your question should be "how do we tag a mp3" and that's easy. We do not tag the graphics component. This is not a karaoke question !
Note : When buying karaoke songs nowadays the best format is mp4 which produces better graphics than mp3+g with both having approximatly the same audio quality. A mp4 file can be tagged in the same way as mp3.
