Alright then, a bit of cross posting but I'll do it here as here's where it should be.

SoundInsurgent uses the Denon MC4000 and wants to control dial 2 of the audio cut8 effect whilst in multi fx mode without pressing shift

These are the default mappings

FX1 effect_slider 1

FX 2 effect_3slots_layout ? effect_slider 2 1 : effect_slider 2

FX 3 effect_3slots_layout ? effect_slider 3 1 : effect_slider 3


These are the new mappings


FX1 param_equal '`get_effect_name 1`' 'Audio Cut8' ? effect_slider 1 2 : effect_slider 1 1

FX 2 effect_3slots_layout ? param_equal '`get_effect_name 1`' 'Audio Cut8' ? effect_slider 2 2 : effect_slider 2 1 : effect_slider 2

FX 3 effect_3slots_layout ? param_equal '`get_effect_name 1`' 'Audio Cut8' ? effect_slider 3 2 : effect_slider 3 1 : effect_slider 3
