Topic: CPU Usage and subsequent temperature rise

So I popped a mix on to start the night and loaded a second, first one finished and I started the second.
The CPU then went on a mission and as a result the temperature shot up, I popped a new track in the first deck, 2nd mix still playing and everything was back to rights.
I am able to replicate the behaviour and have a video that I'll upload asap.
I've had a quick flick through and can't immediately see if anyone else has posted it.
Apologies if they have and I've duplicated.

How long are those mixes? And what file format?

Mp3 50 mins and 20 mins, it's fine whilst loading and playing, it's when the first mix finishes and the second is playing.
Like vdj is still trying to do something with it even though it's stopped.
Im pretty sure it didn't do it before.

what is the CPU usage meter at when this high temperature occurs?

and what are you computer specs

The cpu goes high when the first mix finishes.
Temp increases as a result of increased cpu.
It runs fine so long as I reload a new track or eject the finished track.
Macbook Pro 2.86ghz
Ssd
8gb Ram
512 graphics

The machine is only used for DJing and copes very well with vdj as a rule.
I'm convinced this is some minor bug, that some process continues when that first deck finshes.
I'm having trouble uploading the video though

Maybe a Mac thing?
As I said, I can't reproduce it, but I'm using Windows.

Are your mixers analyzed for BPM e.t.c. before you load them on decks ?
When you load on a deck a file that hasn't been analyzed before, VirtualDj will automatically analyze the file as you load it.
However, analyzing two big files simultaneously may increase CPU usage.
