solution for the video problem, you have to monitor you memory Ram I have seeing that it eat up all my memory I have 8gb, when it get below 1gb the video get black and it only sounds, I have to clean up the buffer and then the video shows.
and for the Mac user I have download a codec Perian_1.2.1 for video and seem to run more smooth, but the RAM that worries me.
It seem they have open the buffer port and it does have no limited.
