Topic: When VDJ 8 is playing and I change a setting and hit apply, the song pauses...why?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

For example, I change the latency setting, hit apply and the songs stops for a second and then plays. Why doesn't hitting apply cause this to happen? Thanks

when the Audio configuration changes and APPLY needs to be selected in order the new setup to be applied, it re-initializes /re-connects to the Sound card. Apparently this is something that you dont do "live"

Remapp a keys you don't do live also, the sound cut off for 2-3s when I was remapping

Re-,mapping shoudnt affect sound. When you change something in the mapping, the mapping is reloaded, (notice that the ONINIT and ONEXIT keys appear in the Key Learn box), but the sound-card shouldnt re-initialize.

in VDJ 8.1 there were no sound drop out when mapping Live ,but now there is in VDj- 8.2 so now mapping when play gigs only before the gigs or after ?
