Topic: need help asap!

i got the new update and now all my songs in the playlist have red x's on them and will not play/load on the doc! don't know how to fix it :(

Upgrading wouldn't cause that to happen.

Have you moved the location of the files?, or if they are on an external drive make sure it is connected properly.

May also be worth reading the user manual as this is pretty basic stuff .....

Rightclick on one track, open Tag editor. At the bottom you will find the path of the track. Is it the correct path?

honestly i am an amateur with this and Im not sure how to even tell. i clicked on that and looked but it did nothing. it has worked great for me for years and i still pay but it just won't allow it to load and reads error on the doc. do you know anything else i can try?

What is the path to file? Can you give an example?

It should look like this: D:\MyMusic\Dance\Example - Song.mp3

it says
"users/myname/documents/virtualDJ/cache "

Aha, so they are content unlimited files.

Well, it is possible that updating deleted your cache files.
I'm not entirely sure if this will work, but can you do a rightclick on the file and choose from the menu "renew cache"?

I assume you still have a valid content unlimited subscription?

yes i do and I'm not sure if i can do that I'm not seeing it :/

omgsh don't even know what i did but i clicked on content unlimited tab then downloaded and they all got fixed!
