Ok I know alot of video DJs are here and I'm sure you know there are some pretty nasty videos out there.
Well the other night I was playing a Justin Timberlake track and in the video there are some nude women, nothing pornographic but still they are dancing in the nude and I'm talking full frontals.
Well my 5 year old just happened to walk by and saw this, lol!! I know not really funny but she was like eww daddy they're naked.
I quickly shut the video off and it got me thinking, what FX could I use to cover that up??
Yes I could use the sampler I suppose but I think a BLUR FX would be better, something that I could adjust as well. Adjust meaning how distorted the video actually gets.
I don't think we have this kind of FX but if we do I missed because id just set a POI that would turn on during those parts and then I wouldn't need to find something cheesy to throw over the video.
So do we have something like that and if not can we get one please??

Could be done with a blur or pixelate.
Using a POI to trigger it gives you a benefit too; you could script it like this:
var_equal $shownaughtybits 0 ? effect_active 'hidenaughtybits'
Which means by default it would hide them, but you could then just have a custom button to set that variable and voila, naughty bits shown.
Perhaps a video censor effect could be added to the video editor, meaning you'd have a seperate 'clean' edit then.

OMG huey,this is the best one yet Lol. how about a automated drop-down curtain on the screen? but really.we have all kinds of images and logos,why not a "censorded" banner? good idea Btw..

I usually just edit them in Vegas (add fog, delete, etc.). This way I don't have to worry about it during a gig.
