I'm using an American Audio VMS2 controller with Virtual DJ LE 7.4.6 on a MacBook Pro w/ 8GB RAM and 2.0 Ghz Dual Core.
It has been happening more and more where in the middle of a song the audio just cuts out and kind of skips around and then just stops. I usually can switch over to the other channel and play from that one but then the channel that stalls out is just "broken" and I have to restart the program. Obviously completely unacceptable for a live set with a crowd. I ended up renting a Pioneer DDJ-SX from a fellow DJ for a gig because I was terrified of having my songs "skip".
Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a problem with the controller or the software? I'm pretty sure my Mac is fine because I played with Serato for hours and hours and never had a problem.
