Topic: A video plugin to let the audience SEE your mix!!!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

@ Scott: How about a basic video effect for showing multiple video sources on the output screen?

What I was thinking was:

1 deck playing ? => FULLSCREEN

More than 1 deck playing (audio sliders not at 0) ? => the screen divides into 4 (with a black background) and other videos that are mixed in will occupy the other 3 slots. No fadeing whatsoever.

RESULT: the audience can now SEE your mix!!!
:)

Actually, I was thinking of something much less complicated... Just having any of 4 video sources on screen as soon as I start mixing them (=slider is not at 0)...

Tellyvisuals/Tellymedia - I think you can only have 1 capture device, but you can place it anywhere on the screen

Yes, I can create a transition to do this; if you have two decks up it will show 2 squares, one for each deck, if you have 3 decks up it will show 4 squares (maybe allow a placeholder in the 4th such as a picture), if you have 4 decks up it will show 4 squares, one deck per square, and so on.

Seems to be a problem with the installer generation - I've created my own installer and uploaded that instead, should download now.
