I remember that in VDJ7 an invisible (1x1 pixel) browser has to be present in the main area of the skin, or else VDJ would throw errors...
Is this still the case in VDJ8 or can the browser be on a panel and not in the "base" area, so to speak?

So it's there (the code is there in the skin) but there's a special code to hide it?
Or is it simply possible to put it on a panel which is hidden (and will only be shown when pushing a button)?
I'd love that, 'cause that's what I'm after!

Indeed the <browser> is not required for a skin to load.
