Topic: Lagging issue while perfoming - comes over the speakers

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

While I am playing a song in Virtual, if I start typing fast in the search bar - the program lags, and you can hear it over the speakers. It's sounds like a cassette tape that has a kink in it. Anyone know what that could be? I want to remedy this with my current version as I am NOT upgrading until the off-season to 8. Thanks in advance! Here is what I have:

MY COMPUTER:
I have a Macbook Pro, 2.3 ghz (i7), 16GB Memory, OSX 10.8.5, NVIDIA Graphics Card, 1TB

MY SOFTWARE:
Virtual DJ 7.4.1 Pro - for Mac

When you have your controller plug up the sound from your computer is coming through.try going in the setting Of your computer sound card and unck it or mute the sound on your computer.
