Hi everyone,

I have a DDJ-SX2 and I try to work with timecode. I can't find the solution and I had tried so many audio config...

Macbook Pro Yosemite (last version)
Virtualdj 8 (last version)

By default, the input on the ddj-sx2 are not enabled because you have to buy the DVS upgrade pack for serato to enable the inputs on the sound card.
On a windows machine you can edit the registry to enable the DVS plugin , but i don't know how to do it on a mac...sorry

there should be a com.seratodj.plist file in Users/YourUsername/Library/preferences FOlder. Use a Plist Editor and change a setting called dvs_enable or something like that to 1 (0 is default)
This will probably change the audio inputs/outputs routing and will be able to use the Inputs of the sound card in VirtualDJ 's Audio Setup.

Thanks djdad!

Timecode now working with DDJ-SX2 and VDJ8 using MAC.

You have to install the last firmware (1.05) for the SX2.
You have to install the last version of SeratoDJ.
Install DVS extension pack for SeratoDJ. (99$ USD).

ALWAYS open than close SeratoDJ before opening VDJ8. Don't miss this step... You won't be able to have DDJ-SX2 2IN2OUT in the menu.

I am at os 10.6.8

How do I make VDJ 7 recognize my ddj-sx2 ?

Hi! VDJ 7 don't support DDJ-SX2 with PC or Mac. Sorry...

Thank you! I went with Serato. Also, tried using VDJ8 with the sx2 and although it works, some functions do not work the same. I'm sure there has to be a map already made, or whenever I can get to it, I'll do it myself.
