I have just downloaded VDJ8 to go on my macbook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.
I have the correct setting by the looks of it but I get a muffled sound from the midi controller, tested speakers etc, put another source into Line 1 and that sounds OK, just not from my MBP.
Any ideas please ?

check the filter knob on all channels / decks and make sure they are set to 12 o'clock position
