Numark Orbit Question: midi mapping - which effect setting would allow me to slow the pitch down when the button is pressed. I tried brake start effect, so far. But I don't want the song to completely stop, I just want to change the pitch when the button is pressed. Then go back to normal when I let off the pad.
Also, which map setting allows me to use the jog wheel for scratching?

It's not a option it's a script

Got it boss. That was gonna be my next question. As far as what I would put in the box for the command.
Do you also know how to use the jogwheel as a scratch? I haven't gone as far as mappings for the k buttons above the wheel. But that would hold me over for the time being. So I could stay off of the laptop as much as possible. Thanks again.

I don't think the jog wheel has a good enough resolution to scratch. I have a hard enough time using it as a scroll in the browser.

Tried the Pitch bend -2% 100ms, but it didn't work as well.
I did like the slowed version this way too but for a later time.
Thinking I'm going to either make a sample of the 'brake start' before it completely stops. And use that. Or make a cue while I have the brake start effect enabled and hope it highlights the effect during the cue portion.
The voice change during the brake start effect was what I was looking for.
The program seems to retain the settings and cues from the night before. That's cool. Hope it works out.
