ok 2 points guys
1.im a full license so why is 8 asking me for license number when i connect to ddj sx
2.is the mapping the same in 8 as 7 ie are scripts the same if you type into map box and save
reason im trying 8 is the ddjsx does not seem to play right on 7,4

If you use 7, and go to 8, it will ask you to sign in. It should not ask for a license number.

What skin are you using? I found the only way to get VDJ8 to work perfectly was to you a 4 deck skin and all the mapping seems to be 100%

What do you mean with "asking for a license" ?
If you activate the Software by logging in you see the license type in your CONFIG / LICENSES tab. If if says infinity license then it's fully working. All the serial number fields on that tab are only needed if you did NOT activate any license and got a Hardware with V8 LE version.
