I'm having an issue with Virtual DJ 8 not reading my tags properly or not at all. It usually get the song and artist correctly but It does always pick up the correct bpm or key. I run all my tracks through a key finder and it names them using the mixed in key numbers. However virtual dj still displays the actual key. Anyway to fix this?

I'm sorry but this is not a bug, it is a feature ;-)
VDJ does always use it's own engine to calculate the BPM and Key etc. there is no way to disable this.
In your case i only can advise you to TAG different MP3TAG fileds with your wanted information.
Maybe on Comment filed side?
